Privacy Policy — Stroll & Story

Stroll & Story is a walking tour app. We built it to collect as little information about you as possible. There are no user accounts, no advertising, and no analytics trackers in the app.

INFORMATION THE APP USES

Location. With your permission, the app uses your device's location to trigger narrated audio as you arrive at each tour stop and to show your position and walking directions on the map. Location data is sent to our map provider (Mapbox) to display maps and routes. We do not store a history of your movements, and your location is never sold or used for advertising.

Camera and motion. With your permission, the app uses your camera and device motion sensors for the ghost hunt experience. All camera and motion processing happens entirely on your device. Camera images are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Photos. When you capture a ghost photo, the app saves it to your photo library with your permission. The app has add-only access: it can save photos you create, but it cannot see, read, or access anything else in your library. Your photos stay on your device unless you choose to share them.

Purchases. The app includes purchase infrastructure provided by RevenueCat, which assigns a random anonymous identifier to your device. No purchases are currently offered in the app, and this identifier is not linked to your identity or used to track you.

Content delivery. Tour content (audio, images, and stop data) is delivered from our backend provider (Supabase). Like most internet services, these servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and request information) for operation and security purposes.

WHAT WE DON'T DO

– We do not require or offer user accounts.

– We do not show ads.

– We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.

– We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.

– We do not track you across other apps or websites.

DATA RETENTION

We do not maintain databases of personal information about our users. Standard server logs are retained only briefly for security and operations.

CHILDREN

Stroll & Story is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the app has no accounts and collects no personal profiles, no such information is gathered in normal use.

YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

You can revoke location, camera, motion, and photo permissions at any time in your device Settings; the related features will simply stop working. If you have questions about your data or wish to exercise privacy rights available under your local law, contact us and we will respond promptly.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we change this policy — for example, when new tours or features launch — we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
